Meet Toni
Hi, I'm Toni Godana, a lifelong dog lover in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I grew up in a 3-dog (and many other pets) household and have always felt called to work with animals. Though I earned a degree and worked as a radiologic technologist, God continues to guide me back to the thing I love most— caring for dogs and helping dog owners.
I currently volunteer with Mit Liebe German Shepherd Rescue and am training my own pups: Kaya my sweet Belgian Malinois, and Konjo, my loyal Boxer-Dalmatian mix. Through my services, I aim to provide a safe, loving, and trustworthy experience for both dogs and their owners.
I know how hard it is to find someone you can trust, especially this day in age. I treat every dog like my own, giving them the attention, exercise, and affection they need — whether it’s a potty break, a walk, or playtime. I also incorporate training to help dogs grow into calm, well-balanced companions.
Every dog deserves respect and compassion. I’m here to make your life easier and your dog’s life even happier!
Not just a business, but a MISSION to Help Save Dogs
The Dog Nanny isn't a "job" to me, this is an act of obedience in following a calling God placed on my heart.
My whole life I have been surrounded by dogs. They are more than a pet, dogs have been my companions and helped shape me into the person that I am today. They have taught me how to love deeply and helped me heal through many losses in my life. It's always been a mission of mine to GIVE BACK to dogs and help them to the best of my ability.
In 2025, my husband and I miscarried with our baby and our hearts were broken. As I was healing from this loss and figuring out my life, I found myself getting more deeply involved with a dog rescue that my aunt has been a part of since I was young. This Dog Rescue is called Mit Liebe (which means "with love" in German). Through the rescue, a month after we lost our baby, we met the sweetest dog I've ever met and we were helping her to find her forever home. Well, after less than 12 hours in our home we KNEW this dog was our dog. Then "Dancer" now Kaya has been a wonderful blessing to our lives and rescuing her flipped a switch in my heart. I knew I needed to help more dogs find their forever home and more humans find the love that rescuing a dog can bring to our hearts. So I got more involved with Mit Liebe GSD Rescue, saw the need for trusted in-home dog care, and started The Dog Nanny LLC!
I can't save dogs on my own, but this rescue sure does an AMAZING job at it! This is why I've decided to partner with the rescue to do my part in helping save more dogs with the help of every family that trusts me to care for their pets.
10% of all proceeds are donated directly to Mit Liebe Dog Rescue to help pay for food, vet bills, adoption fees, and whatever else the rescue needs to thrive and help save more dogs.
